Last week, on Christmas, the area around the church was bustling with a gift-sharing event. However, this week, the number of attendees has decreased by more than half. It's disheartening to see the reality of those who come expecting material gifts.
It seems that some are seeking only material support when they come to the church. However, their impoverished situation cannot be solved merely with material gifts. What they truly need are opportunities for real change and education to become self-reliant.
While material support is important, there is a greater challenge awaiting them. We strive to continually share the gospel of Jesus Christ, providing them with eternal hope. No one can fully satisfy their needs or solve all their problems, but, not knowing who among them has been chosen for eternal life, today, once again, we proclaim that Jesus Christ is the true solution!
